#70 Are You a Professional Worrier?
Am I standing correctly?
Why do I feel discomfort here?
Should I adjust my posture again?
If you constantly check, correct, or doubt yourself while practicing Oneness, this is for you.
Return to the Three Anchors
As I shared in 9 Hidden Switches, whenever doubt or anxiety arises, simply return to the Three Anchors:
Half-Smile. Breath Settles Lower. 360° Awareness.
Let them bring you back to openness, to nature, and to enjoying your practice.
Trust Your Body
Oneness Standing helps your body return to a more natural, balanced condition.
But your body may have spent decades getting used to a different condition.
As it adjusts, some muscles may feel unfamiliar or mildly uncomfortable. This doesn't necessarily mean you're doing something wrong.
Give your body time.
Your body is remarkably intelligent. With gentle, consistent practice, your body and mind can gradually become accustomed to this new condition.
Trust your body's intelligence instead of your mind's constant doubts.
What About Posture?
For most people, there is little need to keep checking once you've learned the basics.
For seniors and those with chronic pain, joint, or spinal issues, pay a little extra attention to your body's central alignment and keep your knees soft, flexible, and spring-like. Never force your posture or push through pain.
Beyond that, return to the Three Anchors.
Remember, the Nine Hidden Switches are not nine more things to worry about.
They help you let go, not give you more to hold on to.
Stop checking. Start enjoying.
You just stand; everything else changes naturally.
With warmth,
LD Chen

Some of you haven't started the digital course yet. I strongly encourage you to watch it, as it provides important guidance to help you establish your practice correctly and effortlessly.
